Moyo in Stellenbosch is a giant outdoor restaurant that CIEE paid for our group, plus the 164 Arts and Sciences kids, to visit as a sort of "welcome" dinner. It was unlike any buffet I have seen before with a dozen stations for salad, game, fish, chicken, potjies (traditional stews), fruit, etc. This plate is filled with chicken, olives, spinach salad, pup (a traditional dish of maize with a sweet vegetable sauce over it), springbok-- I had to try it-- and mussels. Delicious.
